TLS Logistics’ newest warehouse, Heka, played host to 200 young students from home and abroad. The young people visited Heka, one of the largest warehouses in Turkey, as part of the International Logistics Training Camp organized by students of Yildiz Technical University.

The Quality and Efficiency Club of Yıldız Technical University and Turkey’s most active student clubs organized the International Logistics Training Camp for the ninth time this year. As part of the event, which was sponsored and supported by TLS Logistics, the young people visited Heka, one of the largest warehouses in Turkey, on December 6, 2013. The young people’s visit also marks the launch of Heka. The young people were Heka’s first guests. As part of the International Logistics Training Camp held from December 2 to 7, 2013, 200 students from all over Turkey and abroad visited Heka, TLS Logistics’ newest warehouse, on the day reserved for the technical tour. During the warehouse tour in Şekerpınar, which has a sophisticated technological infrastructure, the students could learn about the future industry in which they will work.

Built With an Investment of $10 Million

The Heka Reservoir is named after a star in the Orion star cluster. It was built in Şekerpınar with an investment of $10 million and is 25,000 m² in size. With Heka, which has a pallet capacity of 52,000 EURO, TLS Logistics’ total warehouse area reaches 135,000 m².
